Cross Motif Christening Gown I by Ginger Snaps Designs

Cross Motif Christening Gown is a classic yoke Christening which uses cross motif Swiss trims to embellish the yoke, skirt, and hemline.  It is a simple design, especially suitable for infant boys and is ideal for beginners.  A three-quarter length, straight sleeve is shown, but a long straight sleeve, and a long puff sleeve have also been included.  The detailed instructions include trim placement guidelines.  While the illustration uses cross motif trims, other trims may also be used, and the long puff sleeve may be used for infant girls.  This Christening gown gives the appearance of lovely hand embroidery without the investment of time.  It is very easy to sew.
