Carmella Daisy A Liberty of London Tana Lawn Fabric

Paysanne B Liberty of London Tana Lawn Fabric100% Cotton
Tana Lawn
54" Wide

Based on a tiny painted fragment originally created during the mid 1930s, Carmella Daisy was revived as a Liberty dress fabric in 1957. Its cascade of marguerites, pansies and buttercups appear to shift towards the sun, reflecting its luminous yellow warmth. This print is part of the Yellow story of our Spring/Summer 2024 collection, examining the joyful spirit of this multi-faceted colour, with designs influenced by art movements such as Expressionism and Symbolism to the radiant beauty of pretty primulas, primroses, lemons, bees and buttercups.

“Some painters transform the sun into a yellow spot, others transform a yellow spot into the sun.” – Pablo Picasso
