Lily's Heirloom Dress pattern is also known as the "2016 Capital Import Lace Catalog Cover Dress" and is elegance at its best.  The bodice is sweet and simple with one row of lace insertion that is adorned on both sides with gathered lace at the center front.  The neck edge is made complete with delicate gathered lace edging and a narrow neck binding.  Precious lace sleeves complete the bodice.  Rows of lace insertions and edging accent the lower edges of the double-tiered skirts.  A shaped sash that runs through a lace carrier at the center front and ties in the back completes the look.  As an added bonus, the slip can double as a sun dress depending on the fabric being used.
